Ltd. that is strongest for Gmail-heavy individuals who want summaries, reply drafting, smart triage, and email-to-task workflows in one app. Its agent can also work with Outlook, IMAP, calendars, developer tools, and MCP connections, but the company's own pages describe provider support inconsistently. Pricing is changing in August 2026, and recent storefront reviews still report basic mail-client bugs, so provider coverage and checkout pricing should be reverified immediately before purchase.

What happens to your email data
The May 18, 2026 privacy policy says Filo is designed not to persist raw Gmail message bodies or attachments except where needed for user-requested actions. It does retain account data and may retain Agent conversations, uploads, generated outputs, To-Dos, memories, preferences, and workflow records. The policy identifies US AWS infrastructure, TLS 1.3 where supported, AES-256 at rest, AWS KMS, and AI provider paths including Anthropic on Google Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, and OpenRouter. Filo says prompts and outputs are not used to train public or foundation models without permission and claims CASA Tier 3 verification.
Security certifications and data-handling commitments are attributed to the vendor unless the supporting audit artifact was independently reviewed.

- Broad homepage copy saying no user data is stored is not a safe directory claim. The privacy policy clearly permits retention of account data, Agent conversations, uploads, generated outputs, To-Dos, memories, preferences, workflow records, logs, and backups.
- The product is early and moving quickly. Detailed App Store feedback reports basic mail rendering, composing, navigation, and folder-state issues even though overall ratings are positive.
- Independent evidence is thin and partly maker-adjacent. Product Hunt's visible sample includes a maker review, while recent named-product social discussion was too sparse for a sentiment conclusion.
- No verified public GitHub repository was found. Do not label FiloMail open source.
